Jithu Sajeevan

My name is Jithu Sajeevan, and I’m currently 22 years old. Originally from India, I moved to the United States eight years ago. Upon arriving, I was amazed by the sheer number of opportunities available here—opportunities that were often limited back home, where success was primarily pursued through academics. That contrast inspired me to seize every chance to grow, learn, and push my potential.

When I first arrived, I struggled with fluent English. But I was determined. I went from being a shy high school freshman to becoming the president of four clubs by senior year. I earned over 40 private scholarships, which allowed me to attend the University of Connecticut on a full ride. Along the way, I became one of the top-ranked chess players in the state.

In addition, I ventured into real estate and became a licensed agent. I founded the CheckMate Team—now one of the fastest-growing real estate teams in the country. We’ve closed over $12M in sales within just six months. By 22, I’ve also acquired six properties totaling 21 rental units.

I’ve joined SERHANT. a next-generation brokerage founded by Ryan Serhant—one of the most recognized names in real estate and the star of Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing New York and Netflix’s new hit series Owning Manhattan. The firm has generated billions in sales by combining elite real estate expertise with world-class media, branding, and tech.
